Mainstream Pastafarianism is an endless barrage of satire with no real substance.

This is unfortunate, because at the core, Pastafarian tradition offers a strain of precious insights, such as how perfectly a God with a string-like nature could interact with a universe governed by a theory of strings. These people don’t know what they have!

Yes, interacting with God should bring us to laughter, perhaps even the painful groans of dad-jokes, but only in balance with everything else.

For instance, the name of God is Yahmeh. This name is perplexing, beautiful, and funny. It’s not just any one thing. Approaching the name from different angles yields a rich variety of reactions.

Tricolor Pastafarianism grows upon this approach to God, as well as the strain of insights from mainstream Pastafarian tradition which show promise.
